WEST GOSHEN — Unionville girls ice hockey head coach Fred Henjes knew he would have a good team this season, but never thought he’d have an undefeated one five games into the campaign.

The Indians continued their perfect run as they met winless Avon Grove and used a four-goal first period to skate away with a 6-0 drubbing in an Inter-County Scholastic Hockey League contest Friday night at Ice Line.

“We have a really nice team this year,” Henjes said. “We have a really young team, so we never know quite how things are going to go.”

The win even came with his skaters trying something new Friday as well.
