WEST GOSHEN – The Unionville girls ice hockey team has proven they can win close games and for the others, they can win big like the 6-0 shutout over Radnor in an Inter-County Scholastic Hockey League game Friday.
They do this all not with a bench full of elite players, but a well-balanced roster which combines long-time players with newbies spanning eighth through 12th grades.
One of those new to the game of hockey helped contribute to the win.
Junior forward Kaelyn Murphy chipped in the final goal of the game for the very first of her high school career.
