UPDATE: During the summer break, Candice left the Daily Local News and now works in the Communications/Public Relations field at a national company in Plymouth Meeting.
Though the job change has been a positive in her life, Candice fully admits that what she'll miss most from the paper is covering high school hockey, so she decided that, even with the new job, she would like to continue as much coverage as she can.
As of the moment, Candice is in talks with the Daily Local News about freelancing the season while keeping up this site. If things fall through with the paper, she will cover games through this site only.
In the meantime, she is in the process of getting ChesCo Hockey Haven updated and ready for the 2016-17 season.

Candice is a Communications Specialist (PR) with BrightView, the nation's leader in commercial landscaping. On the side, she is a freelance sports reporter for the Daily Local News . This is her fourth season covering high school hockey in Chester County and, for the first time, is expanding her coverage on ChesCo Hockey Haven to include all the teams in the ICSHL.
She is a 2012 graduate of Temple University and has covered ice hockey on a wide variety of levels, including high school, college, the ECHL, the AHL and the NHL. You can read more about her here .

Patrick is a freelance photographer in his spare time, shooting anything from sports to nature and everything in between.
He started shooting ice hockey to help Candice during the 2015-16 season and has come back to continue his work. Patrick's photographs have been published in the Daily Local News .
